The present SI of Nanchenkotta at that time was SI Vysakhan. After the speech Lakshmanan was killed by Amarnath's main goon Ummar ( Harish Uthaman). Lakshmanan who speaks in favor of the locals and against DYP and asks for the vote of the local people.

The movie begins with a public address session by Adv. Lakshmanan who also used to participate in election failed due to the influence of Amarnath. There was another rival party lead by Adv. The other known members of the party were Amarnath's brother Appu ( Vini Vishwa Lal) and their cousin Dr. The party also had businesses there like gun production. So that place was now filled with goons under the command of Amarnath. Therefore, many residents left the land and are living in neighboring places. The party threatens and tortures the people there to keep them under their control and everyone lives in fear. Nanchenkotta is a fictional place in Kerala-Tamil Nadu border which is ruled and owned by a party named DYP whose leader was Amarnath ( Shivajith Padmanabhan). This scene was released as a Prologue Teaser for the promotion of the film. When they reach near, K suddenly turns around and uses his iron box to hit a goon in the head. Seeing the lying goon, the whole gang started running towards K to attack him. Blood is pouring from his face which indicates that a huge fight had taken place.
He is having a long beard and some different clothes. Here K is completely different from as shown in the film. A goon is also shown lying on the ground after being beaten severely in the hands of K. Then K comes in the picture who was standing turned away from them. In a gang territory, one member reports something to the other goons and they are shown running outside to confront someone. The music was composed by Deva and lyrics were written by Ilandevan.In the prologue session of the film, we can see a scene from K's past which is not shown in the film. Before delivery, she meets Chellamma and informs that she did live with Prakash to teach him a lesson and had a child just for Chellamma and leaves the child with Chellamma after delivery. When they meet Kalki and inform this, Kalki says that she does not want to live with them as well as she is not ready to give the child to them. She agrees with a condition not to hurt Kalki's child and also to live with Kalki. However, upon realizing the mistakes that he did, he asks sorry to Karpagam and asks for a chance to change himself. During the time of delivery, Karpagam, with her lawyer, threatens Prakash that she is going to divorce him. Kalki makes him understand what he was doing to his wife by treating him like the way he treats his wife. However, she strikes up a friendship with Prakash, and as the result of an affair with him, she ends up bearing his child.
Chellammaa becomes friends with Kalki after a few encounters, and Kalki moves in as a paying guest. She not only rejects him but also debunks love and sentiments. Kalki ( Shruti) works in an ad agency and is relentlessly pursued by coworker and model Paranjothi ( Rahman). Prakash marries Karpagam ( Renuka), a doormat wife, while Chellammaa stays single, with a cook named Kokila (newsreader Fathima Babu in her first movie appearance) around to help her. When he prohibits her from singing, it is the last straw for her, and they divorce. She is unable to beget a child and hence is the target of hurting words from Prakash and his mother. Chellammaa ( Geetha), a singer, is wedded to a chauvinistic, sadistic industrialist named Prakash ( Prakash Raj).
